Kermit the Frog[]

This has really been bothering me for a while, but should we really have Kermit listed on there? Sure, his sketches were repeated, but I thought those listings of Muppet characters/human characters/performers etc were only for the material in that specific season. Good point. Maybe he shouldn't be listed. --Rankin (talk) 04:15, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
Well, the abandonment of Kermit was official at first. But, he did appear in atleast one new sketch for that season. -- Jon (talk) 04:29, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
Oooooohh.... I never even noticed that. :P Nevermind, then. Wattamack4 04:33, February 14, 2010 (UTC)Alex

David and Maria = Season 2?[]

I thought David and Maria didn't appear until Season 3. ---- Jesse (talk) 22:15, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

145 episodes?[]

Does anyone know why there were 145 episodes produced this season as opposed to the standard 130? Was it to avoid confusion with The Electric Company that would premiere in 1971? Peace. —MuzikJunky 08:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Season 2 Letter & Number Sponsors[]

I couldn't find the old Muppet Central post I got this in, but all the credit for this goes to the original poster. He posted it as a list, but here's the pattern:
Letters
JASFBENKIROLPZUCMDAGEHQTVIXWOY (note that most of the vowels are in there twice)
in an A, B, AB, C, D, CD... pattern for 45 episodes
Then: U, I, IU, A, U
Then: 45 more as above
Then: U, O, OU, U, E
Then: 45 more as above
(Total 145 episodes)

Numbers
First 2 weeks: 2, 4, 5, 10, 11, 7, 9, 3, 6, 8
Then: 2-12 in order, five times
Then: 1
Then: 2-12 in order, four times
Then: 1
Then: 2-12 in order, three times
Then: 13
(Total 145 episodes)

And that's Season 2.

Here's the original: http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?t=10492
The person did the same for Season 1, each time using old TV Guides as a source, and they all matched up with the CTW Archives. Therefore I consider them trustworthy. --Hilleyb 02:16, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Proto-Farley[]

In the Season 2 cast listing, it lists "proto-Farley". What is meant by this? I haven't seen much with Farley, but as far as I'm aware, Farley didn't have much of a unique personality, so I don't see how his early appearances would be considered prototpe apearances if there was no major character development. --Minor muppetz 02:08, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Possibly Jerry wasn't the only puppeteer in that season? Just taking a guess to try and reinvigourate this. -- Zanimum 14:54, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
