Name That Titwillow Sam!Edit

Okay, there's a confusing situation here. When I created this page, I used Image:Samseason2.jpg, from Episode 213as the second The Muppet Show Sam (until an intervening puppet could be added by someone else, anyway), with the following text, penned by myself and with details on the first use of the new puppet, from the Titwillow sketch, supplied by Peter: "A new Sam puppet premiered during Tit Willow, the UK Spot on Episode 120 of The Muppet Show. Sam's eyebrows have been trimmed and the fringe of hair/feathers combed down somewhat. The beak has been reshaped slightly, and wing feather coloration made brighter, though the face and body hues still clash."

The image has been replaced with this one, Image:Sam02.jpg, but with the text remaining, and the image I created the description for moved down with a "Same as above" caption. That confuses the heck out of me, as the two don't look the same at all. While closer than the first two Sams, there's clearly been a dye job between the two. So, to all you puppet change experts or folks with the Season 1 DVDs, can anyone verify which Sam image is closest to the one which premiered in the "Titwillow" sketch, and whether or not "Sam02" is even from the first or second season? --Andrew, Aleal 20:03, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

And an anonymous user changed the info: "A new Sam puppet premiered in the Ben Vereen episode of The Muppet Show and yet another one in episode 119. Sam's eyebrows have been trimmed and the fringe of hair/feathers combed down somewhat. The beak has been reshaped slightly, and wing feather coloration made brighter, though the face and body hues still clash." Unless anyone can confirm this claim, I'm going to go ahead and change it back to Peter's version. --Andrew, Aleal
