Someone referred to this guy as 'Sammy', does anyone know if he was ever referred to in this manner? If so, could we put it as an alternate nick name? Seems plausible enough. Ty 02:42, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

If the someone was someone on a forum or in conversation, no (and I know of no occasion where he was ever called Sammy; when addressed casually, assuming it's not an insult or somesuch, it's always been Sam). We only list alternate names that are used often; see Gonzo, which we use since he was frequently called "The Great Gonzo" as well as "Gonzo the Great," so we note those but use Gonzo as the simple title). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 07:38, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
