Is there any explanation for why her arms start purple and then turn pink? Is she supposed to have prosthetics, or did she steal an old pair of Miss Piggy's gloves? —Scott (talk) 18:02, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

First, Rusty's a guy. Second, it may just be a faulty picture color. On the episodes he's in, the puppet is actually a combination of the Large Lavender Live Hand, and Lavender, i.e. a separate puppet from either of these versions. It's not used as much as the other lavender variations, but it was used for the original Sonny Friendly and the young Count. Recently, it was used as the Mother in the Dinner Theater segments. -- MuppetDude 18:24, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Ha, dude looks like a lady. Due to the darkness of the picture, I originally thought the backpack shoulder strap was a pony tail. Still, the colorization is an oddity. This looks like it might have been a production photo for Sesame Street Magazine, so maybe the puppet was a quick mock-up. —Scott (talk) 18:34, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
