Tall Orange or Lavendar?[]

In the article for Rockin' Richard, it says that he was made from the Tall Orange Anything Muppet. I have seen quite a few other sites that list him as the orange anything Muppet as well. However, in the song "Telephone Rock", when the lavendar anything Muppet says "Yeah", it sounds like he is voiced by Richard Hunt to me (the orange monotones voice isn't heard as clearly as the other monotones). This leads me to believe that Rockin' Richard is actually the lavendar monotone, and Chrissy is the orange one. Of course, that song is the only visual refference I have of Little Jerry and The Monotones, so it's possible that when the puppets were lip syncing to the song the performers used the wrong puppets. --Minor muppetz 04:14, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Briging this question up again (there was never really any discussion over it), I have seen more Little Jerry and the Monotones sketches since I asked this question. In most of their sketches, Rockin' Richard and Chrissy sing in unison together, and with Big Jeffy, but don't seem to sing their own lines very much, and the lavendar one seems to get more solo lines than the orange one. But after watching more sketches, they seem to have had multiple voice performers.
The lavendar one was voiced by Richard Hunt in "A Body Full of Rhythm" and "Telephone Rock", and by Christopher Cerf in "Proud" and "Mountain of Love". The orange one was voiced by Jerry Nelson in "Proud", and by Jeff Moss in "Mountain of Love". Regarding names, I know that they were referred to by name in "Four", but I don't know if that was produced as a segment on the show, or if that track was an audio-only song. I haven't actually heard that song, but I've read lyrics, and it seems like Rockin' Richard is just called Richard there (I don't know where the "Rockin'" part comes from). The blue one is missing from "Mountain of Love", but they are also mentioned by name there: The orange one refers to himself as Big Jeffy (that could have been a mistake, as he's voiced by Jeff Moss there), and the lavendar one is referred to as Little Chrissy. Still, this proves that their names were used more than once, and might have been consistantly used (unlike the various Frackle names). --Minor muppetz 20:27, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
