Kermit
Edit
I hang my head in musical theatre shame because I do not know the answer to this question. There was a benifit at the Birdland in 2008 featuring music from Jeff Marx, Bobby Lopez and Alan Menken (among others), and performances including Matt Cavenaugh, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and Rick Lyon. What is interesting is that Rick had Kermit with him. But was it Kermit or a Kermit that he created for this event? I can find nothing beyong this article about it, and I'm wondering if anyone else has any info about Kermit. -- Nate (talk) 22:31, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
- Neat find. I'm not sure if anyone can answer, but don't forget, Rick Lyon still has a website with e-mail address. Though the page hasn't been updated since 2008, it probably still works since it's to his domain name. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 22:50, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
- I had found a short video of it some time ago, but looking at it I could tell that it wasn't the real Kermit. I think its limbs were a little bigger than the real one. Plus, they were singing one of the songs from Kermit, Prince of Denmark. Unfortunately, I can't find the video anymore. -- MuppetDude 14:38, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
- The Avenue Q book talks about the performance. I don't have it anymore though. I think Rick Lyon made it, it seems to me that that was mentioned in the book, but I can't recall. It doesn't look like the real Kermit, though. The arms are too big, and the body's too thin. --Justin 18:52, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
