Talk:Puppet Up! - Uncensored (TV special)
From Muppet Wiki
Why is this page listed as "Puppet Up! - Uncensored" and not disambiguated, like the web series, as "Puppet Up! - Uncensored (television special)" or something of the likes? The official title of the stage show, and the whole Puppet Up! franchise if you will, is "The Jim Henson Company's Puppet Up! - Uncensored". The name of the television special was also "The Jim Henson Company's Puppet Up! - Uncensored" and the name of the web episodes are also "The Jim Henson Company's Puppet Up! - Uncensored". I know we don't bother with the "The Jim Henson Company's" stuff but the "- Uncensored" is not just tacked on to the two filmed releases (television and internet) it is also the title of the stage show (as has been used for the shows in Las Vegas, Anaheim, Sydney and Melbourne). In the early days the stage show changed names a few times as it evolved ("Jim Henson's Puppet Improv - Adults Only" and "Puppet Up - For Adults Only"; plus there was the one-time "Puppet Up! - For Kids" set of shows) but the full and official name of the stage show (as advertised and on marques and the logo and tickets and such) is officially "The Jim Henson Company's Puppet Up! - Uncensored". If any article gets that title I think it should be the main show page. I'm not suggesting we have "Puppet Up! - Uncensored (stage show)", "Puppet Up! - Uncensored (television special)" and "Puppet Up! - Uncensored (web series)", but I do think this page should be disambiguated as (television special) and "Puppet Up! - Uncensored" either becomes the main show's page title or a redirect to it. -- Brad D.
