Reference?Edit

I think the August 2010 comic strip isn't a reference as much as a ripoff -- I think they just used the joke. There's no apparent expectation in the strip that you're supposed to recognize the Ernie and Bert sketch; the punchline is delivered as if it's an original joke. -- Danny (talk) 21:52, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

Fair enough. We can reword, but I think it's still interesting enough to be worth noting (it's not everyday that Ernie and Bert routines are ripped off by others, compared to the Marx Brothers and the like). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:56, September 3, 2010 (UTC)
