Not just a reference
Edit
I'm trying to figure out if we should categorize the show in something additional to "TV References," since they filmed Pee-Wee's Sesame Street segments on the set of the Playhouse series. Any suggestions? -- Nate (talk) 21:44, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
- It still counts as a reference, like we count Bonanza as a reference when the cast appeared in character on the set (it was not uncommon for inserts to just shoot them on the celeb's studio lot or set, in cases like that). Though that's why we have things like the Fictional Celebrities list and we explain the details (which you'll note are in fact not under the references heading, for the reason you list), but it really doesn't qualify for anything else (since it's not the Muppets guesting on the Playhouse, but the Playhouse set guesting on Sesame STreet, so to speak, and we don't count the sets as guest stars). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 23:35, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
