Illustrated Character

If a character only exists in illustrated form, should they be categorized as a Muppet Character? -- Scott Scarecroe 19:58, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I don't think characters who are only in illustration form count if they were never on the show.Scooter 20:00, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I think you're right. I put in a bunch of characters from the Sesame Dictionary, and I labeled them all as Muppet Characters because most of them were from the show. Dean took the Muppet Character tag off some of them, like this one and Lasso Louise, who were only seen in the books. I realized why he'd done it, and I agreed with them. Then it looks like Brad put the Muppet Character tag back on.
Anyway, what do we want to do with characters like that? Should Pamela stay in Sesame Street Characters, or should we make a special category for characters from the books? Or should we delete her and forget all about it? -- Danny Toughpigs 20:18, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
I think they're fine as Sesame Street Characters. Because, you know, they are. They're just not Muppets because they don't exist as such. But if there are enough of them, an Illustrated Characters category might be in order. -- Scott Scarecroe 20:50, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I'm good with that. -- Danny Toughpigs 20:54, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
