I don't know what I think about the "Weekend at Jim's" joke. It's not super funny, and has the potential to be confusing. Anybody else have thoughts? -- Danny (talk) 17:11, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's somewhat funny, but like everything else in that space, subjective. I could do without it. —Scott (talk) 17:57, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- I don't particularly care for it either (I assume it's supposed to be a Weekend at Bernie's joke, but it would need explanation for the casual visitor and obviously wouldn't be relevant). I think it dates from the time when many of us were using either quotes or snarky comments as captions, which by now we've generally removed (unless it does accurately describe the image in context without being misleading), using either basic facts or leaving it blank. So I'd be in favor of removing it (I saw this short at Ottawa in 2005, by the way). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 03:02, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
