This is an awesome page, and has gotten some really nice attention around the web -- Metafilter links to us on a page that's spreading around a lot.
We don't list any references on the page. There are lots of incredible details, and it would be great to know where they come from -- the brown fur from the original Grover, William Morris being painted over, discovery of the pipes in 1980. - Jim cites the Grover claim in the Today appearance with Gene Shalit and Frank tells the Morris story in the interview with Brian Williams. Gene claims that before the interview with Jim, they had recently re-discovered the pipes while renovating the studio. - Oscarfan 21:59, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
