Nate's been doing a great job creating pages for all kinds of TV and movie references lately. However, I'm not sure this one really merits a page. A Dinosaurs episode features a bad sitcom spoof briefly called "House Full of Dads," which feels like a composite of Full House (which aired on ABC) and possibly My Two Dads, but it's pretty generic (and could equally be referring to the countless older shows which involved multiple father figures, from My Three Sons with Bub and Uncle Charley to A Family Affair with Mr. French). While many of the Dinosaurs TV spoofs were specific, others were more general (like a parody of "high concept" sitcoms in general called "Way Too Complicated"). I don't want to spoil anyone's fun, but if it's too vague beyond the title to see how deliberate the reference was and there's nothing else to support the page (Full House has a lot of mentions to justify it; yes there's a slim connections list but nothing else), it seems to me that it would work better as a brief note on the episode page (and the three notable cast connections could even be mentioned there if desired). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 08:53, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, scratch that. Steve just added a second and unquestionable reference, My Two Test Patterns. Yay. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 11:08, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually the logo they used for "House Full of Dads" is clearly ripped from the My Two Dads title card. That was the dead give away of what they were spoofing (along with other shows I'm sure, but My Two Dads followed in the vein of family sitcoms as well, although updated from Father Knows Best of the 60s). -- Nate (talk) 15:20, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
