Statler and Waldorf
I found a few examples of Statler and Waldorf with alcohol. One is in "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie". They claim to have bought drinks at Club Dot. The bartender (Johnny Fiama) says "They're lyin!" as he pours shots.
In "The Muppet Show Sex and Violence", Waldorf is seen holding a glass of brandy. He's also seen with a brandy glass in Michael Frith's original sketch of Statler and Waldorf.
In one episode of "Muppets Tonight", Waldorf comments "This show is like a glass of brandy. It's old and it makes my head hurt." I think it's in the episode "The Best of Muppets Tonight".
Do these count? I ask because Statler and Waldorf don't actually drink in any of these clips.
Also, what about the "pickled egg" at the bar? It's a visual gag of course, but the egg looks...well, pickled. Check out this clip at the 3 minute mark:

Do the Muppets have to drink the alcohol in the clips for it to count or can implied scenes (like these) count too?

We might have a better title for this, since it includes Creature Shop characters and Bill Barretta's cameo, but it tickled me and was the best I had just to get it started for now. βScott (talk) 18:18, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
