Jim Henson Collaborations[]

Since we do cover Jim Henson's experimental films, would anyone object to creating pages for Maurice Sendak's collaborations with Jim Henson? I can't think of much to say about "Bumble Ardy" or "Seven Monsters" that isn't on the page, but we can probably just remove some of the info from this page and put the info on the individual pages, and just list the titles and maybe the fact that they were both taken off Sesame Street early on. "Bamble Ardy" has been on DVD for years, and "Seven Monsters" has been posted on YouTube. --Minor muppetz 01:52, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

Do we have a precedent for creating individual pages for animated shorts on Sesame Street? I thought we covered them all on one page for the artist. β€”Scott (message me) 07:04, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
We do. Only short films by Jim Henson or Frank Oz or someone get solo pages, which I imagine is why Michael is suggesting it, but the collaboration here is basically Henson as producer/voice/editor (and Fred Calvert's studio did the actual animation). And it's covered here. Now, if we want to get into more detail on the shorts, there's no reason a table couldn't be added (see John and Faith Hubley). That could include some of the info from Redbook (like the Calvert involvement) which isn't here yet (since it's relevant but breaks up the narrative flow of the focus on Sendak; in a filmography table, it would work) and it makes far more sense than solo pages. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 15:49, December 11, 2011 (UTC)
Right, the precedent exists for Henson and Oz. The Sendak shorts should stay on the Sendak page. β€”Scott (message me) 16:43, December 11, 2011 (UTC)
