What's the source for the spelling of her name as indicated by the article title? Also, is there a space or no space, as the text in the article is different. The Muppet Show credits spell it Marianne Harms. -- Scott (talk) 02:03, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

I'm wondering what that source could have been, too, because if you do a Google search of "Mary Ann Harms" and "Muppets," only this Wiki page comes up. However, if you search "Marianne Harms" and "Muppets," there are three pages of links, plus her IMDb page. -- Mary Catherine (talk) 02:13, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, Vard started the page, and presumably knew what he was talking about. But apart from that, the only place I can find is at the Jerry Nelson bio page, in a quote from Nelson himself. Pity Vard's been inactive, making it hard to check on. Andrew Leal (talk) 02:15, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
I recommend changing the article title to what fits the best source. -- Scott (talk) 02:23, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Ditto, let's go with the credits. -- Danny (talk) 02:24, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Actually, that raises sort of a general question. Do we use the names people were credited as, or general names, or on a case by case basis? Kenny Ascher was recently moved to Kenneth Ascher, apparently because it's his birth name and included in some publishing databases, but all screen credits, Paul Williams' interviews, IMDb, and so on use Kenny. We use Alaina Reed because she didn't become Alaina Reed-Hall until after she left Sesame Street, but all the redlinks for a Dog City voice actress use Tara Strong despite the fact she was credited as Tara Charendoff at the time (and for most of her career, prior to a marriage around 1999). Yeah, kind of a nitpicky issue in some ways, but I'm a credits nut, so I like to ask. Andrew Leal (talk) 02:41, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
