I have concerns about this page's relevancy here. Saturday Night Live wasn't a Muppet/Henson production, and therefore Lorne Michaels doesn't belong in this category. I nominate this for deletion unless we can find some way he fits here. — Scott (talk) 03:02, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- I added the page just because he was the producer for the Land of Gorch sketches, and because of the quote from Jim Henson. Though, I do understand why it might be an irrelevant page. --Gribbaziggy 03:10, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- I honestly think Lorne Michaels has a better claim for inclusion than, say, Karey Kirkpatrick. I don't know who built the set, but Michaels was definitely instrumental in including the Muppets (and there's quotes about him from The Mighty Favog and so on; he basically functions as an off-screen character in several of the "Muppets are fired" skits). The page could use some quotes, though. Some basic research, from Live from New York or quite likely Bernie Brillstein's autobiography, would help flesh it out, I'm sure. I'm not in a position to do it right now, but I'm sure someone could. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 04:03, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- I could get the book from the library and work on the page.--Gribbaziggy 18:42, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
