I think we're going too far here.[]
I have no wish to offend anyone, but I think these pages about Anything Muppet patterns are getting too clustered with pointless images. Certain users (I'm not naming any names, you know who you are) have been uploading images of characters who are nothing more than mere faces in the crowd, such as one of the cheerleaders for a letter or word. I really don't think those pictures should be included. We should only include characters who 'add something to the sketch' and have at least a decent close up. I think some of these images ought to be deleted. Anyone agree? Garrettk41 05:31, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I personally don't really think it's necessary to have every AM character listed; especially those that have no real significance beyond just being one of a few back-up singers for a one-shot number or, again, one that we can at least get a passable pic of. Overall, I agree that a limit has to be set.-- Jon (talk) 23:13, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
- My sentiment exactly. It just clusters the page up. Also, not that it's a huge thing, but is there any way we can readjust this page, as well as the other anything muppet patterns, so that it's not just one character per line? Maybe three or four in a row like it used to be would be nicer. Garrettk41 04:46, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
- That settles it. Since no one has expressed any objections, I'm going to do some editing on these AM pages. Garrettk41 23:07, December 17, 2010 (UTC)
More Characters[]
Here are some other Lavender characters who I think deserve pages of their own. Some may be live hands, so I'll probably post this on that page as well. We could use articles on: Alice, Ali Baba, The Royal Lackey, The Princess (...and the C), Mary, Jack, Ms. Carpenter, Rita Rucci, Tommy and Sally Wilson, King Gerry the Generous, Princess Geraldine, Ida Nomer, Dierdre, Vivian, Mrs. Rooney, Fenwick La Touche', Mother Goose, and The Royal Paper Maker. Now that I've gotten the hang of it, chances are I'll create some of these articles myself. But if anyone wants to get a head start, that would be great. Garrettk41 02:34, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Per discussion at Category talk:Anything Muppet Patterns, I removed image-less entries for vague non-descript background singers/musicians in bans, and for individual characters without images, I'm parking here. Both as a record, and also because it's unclear on some of these pages whether, in fact, the pattern designation is accurate, or based on vague memory (I've certainly mis-remembered such things). Without visual confirmation, it's hard to be sure:
- Larry Rhymie
- Rapunzel Season 37 (that one's especially vague; *what* season 37 appearance?)
If anyone can find images of these, feel free to add them! -- Andrew Leal (talk) 16:06, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
