This page needs some writing help, especially the first section. The description of the old format is confusing and poorly written, especially this passage: "All footage for these were reused for many skits, with the same things having endings with Ernie being found edited unless Ernie was found in those scenes." The whole page could do with a good rewrite, though, particularly if anyone can coherently compare both formats.

A title card or other image wouldn't hurt either. Andrew Leal (talk) 02:28, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

I just did some work on it. I may come back to it again later. -- Ryan (talk) 18:59, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity, is there any chance the Journey to Ernie segments are based on the show Caroll Spinney was "trying" to perform when he first met Jim Henson? --Gribbaziggy 23:26, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Err, is there any source for this theory? Nothing I've found ever had any details on the show, and Spinney never worked on this segment anyway, so it seems like a stretch to me. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 23:30, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Oh, no, it was just a thought that occured to me. I mean, it's basically the same idea: mixing puppetry with animation. I was just wondering if that was a possibility... sorry. --Gribbaziggy 23:40, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
