When Brad created this page in 2006, he wrote that the chraracters are Hugga Wugga, Iggy Wiggy and Happy Yellow Creature. Anybody know the source for those names? I'm gonna leave a message for Brad too. -- Danny (talk) 01:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Also, why does this article say that it's also known as "Buggy Mugger"? How is it known as that? -- Danny (talk) 03:39, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Song or sketch?
Is this a Muppet Show sketch or a Muppet Show song? Something like Java is classified as a Muppet Show song (although also categorized as a repeated sketch). -- Brad D. (talk) 21:38, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thing is, "Java" is also the piece of music. "Hugga Wugga" really isn't. There's a background score ,some chanting, and interpolated into it, a completely different song, "You Are My Sunshine." So I'd vote no on calling it a song. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:41, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I ask because most guides list it as a musical number, the DVD Muppet Morsels refer to the sketch as a song, it appears on a UK album and like “ Java” Hugga Wugga is legally the title of the song used (I think). And although it is a more free-form jazz song, I’ve always thought of it as a song. The heart of the sketch's premise might not be on the actual music (before it was done as Sclrap Flyapp) but something like the Java sketch isn't all about the specific piece of music either. -- Brad D.
