Frank Oz[]

Are we sure it is Frank Oz playing Hippie in "Good Morning Starshine." I just watched it on YouTube and I couldn't tell. It seemed like just a gaggle of hippie Muppets singing and talking (though I COULD identify a few). But do we have a source or something on Frank's involvement with Hippie here? ---- Jesse (talk) 01:23, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Frank's voice doesn't become audible until this hippie shows up, so I guess that's why. - Oscarfan 01:26, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
I didn't notice, but I'm willing to go with it. Thanks. ---- Jesse (talk) 01:28, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, that's pretty much why I put that down. And it's definetly not the Orange Hippie, since even though he comes at the same time, he was performed by Joe Raposo. Wattamack4 02:12, December 3, 2009 (UTC)Alex

Name[]

Was Hippie Grump ever mentioend by name (or is there an official source for his name), or are we just calling him Hippie Grump because he is the Grump puppet decorated to look like a hippie? --Minor muppetz 19:32, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

I never heard him mentoned by name; I just named him that because of the puppet. -- Tony, 161.6.42.135 19:41, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm not a big fan of this name (we made it up 'cause he looks like a hippie and he looks like Grump)...it's like a "Pink Boppity" type of situation. Does he have a name? And if not is there something less presumptuous and misleading we could call him? -- Brad D. (talk) 19:03, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
I would say Bearded Hippie, or create a page for Hippies, a la Arabs. β€” Scott (talk) 19:09, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
There could be other nameless bearded hippies, though. Big Jeffy, for example, is a bearded hippie (albeit a named one). I say just start a page for hippies. --Minor muppetz 19:56, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
