Well, Cookie wears a black hat and gold chains (the signature attire for Run-DMC at the time). DMC's "Walk This Way" was a well-known hit in 1987, which is when "Healthy Food" was first shown. Also, as with any Cerf spoof (Born to Add, Hey Food etc.), both of them have similar-sounding guitar riffs, rap lyrics and chorus.
