Talk:Granny Fanny Nesselrode
From Muppet Wiki
Another Performer
Currently, Jim Henson is the only performer listed as Granny Fanny. However, I recently saw the kitten classification sketch, and Granny sounded different from how she sounded in "Here is Your Life: Oak Tree", the only other sketch where I've heard her talk. She sounded a bit like the mother from the Consider Yourself number, who was performed by Caroll Spinney. But is there anybody here who has heard her voice in more appearances, or any official listings that cite Jim Henson as the main voice? Obviously, Henson performe dher when she appeared in a "Here is Your Life" sketch, but I wodner if the two performers alternated the role, or if one of the performers filled in for the other one on at least one occassion, or even if Jim Henson might have took over the role after awhile. And I have a feeling that this question might be a "still stumping" type question. --Minor muppetz 23:48, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Answering Lady
I found one Answering Lady sketch on the Web Video Player, and wanted to start a page on those segments. However, I wasn't sure whether I should start a seperate page, or just add a section to those segments here. Of course, I've only seen one segment. And it might be a bit hard to do a proper sketch listing, as the CTW Archives first season show content lists two of the sketches as "Answering Lady #1" and "Answering Lady #2", with no topics, making it hard to know which specific skits those were. --Minor muppetz 14:23, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
