What's the source for the spelling "Okie Fenokie Pack 12?" It seems like a reference to Walt Kelly's Pogo (a noted influence on Jim Henson), where the spelling is Okefenokee (the name of a real swamp in Georgia, which inspired Kelly). Andrew Leal (talk) 23:17, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think it's a reference to Pogo, I think it's just that the Okefenokee Swamp is the largest swamp in the country and very well known. But yeah, without a source for the spelling given in the article I'd go with Okefenokee. -- Erik (talk) 23:12, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- Given that Pogo popularized the real life swamp and that two "Songs of the Pogo" were used on The Muppet Show (plus the fact that Pierre the French Rat comic was influenced by Kelly as cited in Designs and Doodles), I don't think it's a stretch, but the spelling is the important thing. I'll go ahead and change it then. Andrew Leal (talk) 23:44, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
