Sesame cartoons

Can we get sources (episode numbers) or animators names on the two recently added Sesame cartoons? If they're coming from memory, I'm wary about their inclusion here. —Scott (talk) 19:14, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't think they fit here anyway. We've never really stated our complicated, unwritten guidelines about when a Sesame cartoon is relevant or not, but I think they're not relevant here. I think the "References" pages are for direct Muppet references. -- Danny (talk) 21:40, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
I both agree and disagree on this one. We have images from the Jazz Numbers segments on George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and I think they help the pages (and I keep meaning to input the Statue of Liberty from a Pinball Number Count segment). But I think those are different since they're recurring segments (and the Jazz bits even used Washington more than twice), in the same way we've discussed distinguishing recurring elements from one-shot cartoons or live-action films. So if Suzie Kabloozie suddenly decided to re-enact Mary Shelley's book, I'd say it would be relevant. But two random bits with Frankenstein-esque monsters simply to fit a standard mad scientist motif, I'd agree they don't fit. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 15:26, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Right, I wasn't thinking about that recurring/one-shot distinction. You're right. -- Danny (talk) 16:47, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
