Are we including identities like Patrol Bear? What about one-shot things like the Tin Woodman from the Brooke Shields episode or Cowardly Lion from The Muppets Go to the Movies? -- Pantalones 15:35, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Patrol Bear definitely belongs in here. I'm not sure about the Tin Woodsman, but it might, given it was a sustained portrayal, in a way. I wouldn't count the Muppets Go to the Movies one, though, as there were dozens of movie character portrayals in that one, except as a foot note to the Muppets' Wizard of Oz. But that's me. Feel free to toss some things in and get some reactions. We're being pretty loose with Elmo Variants, after all. I think we just want to make sure we don't get to the point where we get "Pie-Plastered Cruise Ship Fozzie." --Andrew, Aleal 16:01, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Regarding "Fozzie the Grinch". I really don't think this should be here. It isn't another character he plays, it's just him turned green and Who people thought he was the Grinch. -- Big V 23:22, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

I think the Grinch should be here. Fozzie might not have purposefully taken on the identity, but he did have the mistaken identity of "the guy who stole Christmas". Plus it's a different variant on the character's look/puppet. – BradFraggle 21:26, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
