Title
Explodaphone or Explodeaphone? I would have said the second one. -- Danny

- I don't know, but the episode will be released on DVD in a few weeks. Hopefully it will contain english subtitles, so we can look at that to see it spelled. I guess it would be a problem if "explodaphone" is said twice and spelled differently both times (I haven't seen the episode, so I don't know how many times it's said). Of course, that's assuming that the number (and all references) isn't cut. --Minor muppetz 22:46, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have the DVD yet, but has anybody watched it with the english subtitles on for possible spelling? --Minor muppetz 04:02, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- The subtitles use "explodaphone." While subtitles aren't the be all end all, it's our best direct source so far. It's also true that any similar musical instruments run like "xylophone" and "sousaphone," only one vowel before "phone," so combining an "e" with the "a" wouldn't fit, and it's a neologism anyway. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 04:33, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
