Listed in the index of this episode is a Film that is described as: A girl narrates a segment about nature through winter and spring.
However, I am almost POSITIVE that this is A) Not the EKA of this segment and B) A segment I have long been desperate to find. I remember seeing a piece as a child that documented the change between winter and spring, with shots of trees covered in snow, the snow melting into water droplets, and several shots of wildlife fending for themselves in a very snowy, wooded, area. The screenshot on the page looks very familiar, but what I'm really after is to hear the music from this segment again. It was very stereotypical early 80s synthesizer music, but it has been living in the back of my mind for a VERY long time.
The episode aired in 1993, but I was 10 in 1993 and was no longer watching SS. I know for a fact that I've seen this segment prior to 1993.
My primary question is: Does anyone know if this segment is obtainable? I just want to see it again.

- If someone posts a guide for an episode that's older than this one, then an EKA tag will be added to this article. It's definitely in other episodes besides this one, so I have it. --MuppetVJ 23:57, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- To clarify, the EKA always references information we have on the wiki. So far, this is the earliest episode with information on the wiki that has this sketch. That's why it's called the "Earliest Known Appearance" instead of "First Appearance". As MuppetVJ says, when somebody adds info on an older episode that includes this sketch we will adjust the information accordingly. -- Wendy (talk) 00:19, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I wasn't meaning to imply that the Wiki is incorrect, I just wanted to be sure that I had found proof of the correct segment.
- Any ideas on how I could go about finding it somewhere? John Rabbit 03:29, 21 January 2008
