Looking at that alphabet clip with the different writing methods, I'd say they were not in chronological order. It's true that the low-tech methods are mostly at the beginning and the high-tech ones are mostly at the end, but in between...I doubt that writing on fogged-up glass ("h") was popular in ancient times, or that crayons ("k") were used to write before block printing ("r") was invented. That mixture suggests that the clip isn't teaching the history of writing, so much as different materials people can use. -- Ingeborg 09:03, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
