The Princess and the Cookie
Edit
I don't suppose this episode guide has a transcript for "The Princess and the Cookie", does it? I'm curious because in The Sesame Street Storybook there was such a story with that title, so maybe it was televised segment, as were the most of book's other stories.
I'm almost certain that it can't be Kermit's News Flash with the mattresses. --Dave Splurge 12:49, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
- no, unfortunately there isn't. there is a description in japanese, if anyone can translate it. it says blech...is oscar involved? --Kate 21:26, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
Added by StreetScenes- Believe it or not, I think this may be it. As best as I can remember, in the book there's this king and a princess who turns away princes because the cookies they bake aren't small enough. Each time she sees one she says "blech". I think the lesson was on "small/smaller/smallest". Then the Royal Baker (Cookie Monster) happens by with the smallest cookie he planned for himself. She sees it and wants to marry him. He doesn't want to marry so he says "blech". Or something. That's as best as I can conjure, I'm sure someone here who has The Sesame Street Storybook handy can describe it better. .... Anybody?...
- I doubt that Oscar would have been in the original version, but what do I know? --Dave Splurge 10:26, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
