Individual pages

Since this is the successor to Elmo's World, should we follow suit by giving each segment its own page, with the plot summary, song list, characters, performers, etc? - Oscarfan (talk) 01:20, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

On the one hand, we haven't done that with anything else, like Abby's Flying Fairy School. We had several reasons for doing so with Elmo's World: a format that involved multiple segments and lent itself to a table, much like the main episodes did; the fact that in many countries and markets it aired as its own show; and the home video releases. We haven't done it with Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures, despite airing as its own show internationally. Elmo: The Musical seems right now like something that is far less compartmental in structure and thus easier to summarize on its own page, like we do with Global Grover and so on. Right now, I'd say we take a wait and see approach, and in part in fact it may depend if we create pages for all the songs per episode. If we want to instead cover them only with the episode, then individual pages make sense (and whichever approach we use, we should list the new characters and performers when known). Right now I'd lean towards no unless it's to consolidate those songs, like I said, but we haven't seen any of the full episodes (running time may factor in, it's not clear to me if these will be as long as Elmo's World). Or really, since it will be as the season airs, I'd say park basics here and *then* if it seems like there's justification (and since it has been confirmed there will be new episodes next season), break out once we've covered this season. Does that make sense? (And if it doesn't, we'll be discussing it again in a few days once enough folks can see the thing). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 03:51, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

characters?

I might be a little strange, but I really enjoyed seeing the penguins and chickens in some of these segments. ;)  Does anybody know if those are puppets too, or those animated in?  To me, they look like puppets, but, uh, what do I know?  (always had a thing for those Muppet birds. ;)

All the chickens and penguins are puppets. - Oscarfan (talk) 21:16, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
