Talk:Edgar Bergen

Edgar Bergen as an influence on Jim Henson is one of those things which seem to be common knowledge, and unlike the It's a Wonderful Life assumption, definitely seems to be true. But, while it's specified in Jim Henson: The Works and Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles, and certainly Bergen and McCarthy clearly meant a lot to him (guest spot, movie dedication and all), can anyone access the "many occasions" where Jim Henson cited it personally? If they can't be found, that doesn't make it untrue, but does mean the passage would need to be reworded, and other evidence (the books, Brian Henson's intro on the DVD with the Bergen episode, etc.) would need to be integrated. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 20:06, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
