Talk:David Barrington-Holt

Extra credits
David Barrington-Holt added credits to his page, which is great. I took the following credits out for now, because I can't figure out if they're Creature Shop productions or not. It's fine to have them on the page anyway, but I want to know how to list them before they get added back.
I'm also not sure if the Children of the Dust production listed on IMDB is the same one that Barrington-Holt worked on.
- Children of the Dust (Channel Four TV): Miniature FX (IMDB)
- Grim Tales with Rik Mayall (1989) (Channel Four TV): Creative Supervisor (IMDB)
- The Master of Disguise (2002): Specialty props (IMDB)
- Meeting Venus (1991) (Warner Bros): SFX Technician (IMDB)
Anybody have information on these? -- Danny (talk) 13:23, 2 August 2007 (UTC)\
- According to IMDb, the Creature Shop did indeed supply specialty props for Master of the Disguise. Though that's one of those things where I'd like to check the credits first, but it seems likely. The rest, definitely not as far as I can tell. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 15:49, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- The sequel isn't listed here anyway, but as for the original, someone would have to rent it to be sure. The full IMDb credits list someone who claimed to be a sculptor for "Jim Hensens Creature Shop" worked on it, and a couple reviews mention it. *But* John Cox's Creature Workshop is also mentioned, so I'm not sure whether or not they got confused. So there's slight evidence of a connection, but someone should really check the film first. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 15:57, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- What about Cutthroat Island? Brad added it to Creature Shop Productions back in January, and I can't find any evidence that the Creature Shop was involved. -- Danny (talk) 16:11, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Plus, Cutthroat Island shows up on the official Creature Shop resume. Scooby Doo doesn't. The list isn't all-inclusive, so the absence is neither proof against it nor for it. -- Andrew Leal (talk)
