Dave Goelz plays Crumpet; he sounds just like the first season Gonzo. -- MuppetDude 17:06, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- According to the Muppet Valentine Show guide at www.muppetcentral.com, he WAS played by John Lovelady, not Dave Goelz. -- User:Deanmo19, 13:42, February 27, 2006
- MC may be wrong; to me, it doesn't sound like John. -- MuppetDude 14:36, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think the crumpet sounds like the first season Gonzo. In Dave Goelz' interview he mentioend that he performed three characters in The Muppet Valentine Show, though he didn't say who (at the time I only knew that he performed Brewsters, so I figured he performed a frog and the crumpet, especially since I couldn't think of any other chracters who the crumpets voice sounded like), but in the Muppet Central guide, it only listed Brewsters as being performed by Goelz. Of course, that guide also lists a few characters as being performed by John Lovelady (the two-headed whatnot in the backstage scene following the opening number in episode 117 and the barber in episode 123, but those characters sound like Dave Goelz characters to me. --Minor muppetz 15:29, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- For 117, I agree; Jerry and Richard did the singing, but Dave voiced one head in the backstage, but John did voice one of them in 123. -- MuppetDude 17:35, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
