Special ThanksEdit

In The Muppets Take Manhattan, Christopher Cerf got a "special thanks" credit. Does anybody know why he got a "special thanks" credit? --Minor muppetz 02:57, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't think there's any way of knowing. Presumably he assisted in some way which was either not substantial enough or of such an esoteric nature that it didn't fit in under writing, composing, etc. he may have consulted, he might have critiqued, he might have just brought everybody lunch on the set. Who knows? "Special Thanks" credits in movies as a general rule are an eclectic hodgepodge of unfathomably variable folks and contributions.
