Dog City special?
The Dog City series was produced in Toronto by Nelvana Animation, but was the Jim Henson Hour Dog City special also from up here? Rob Mills and Gordon Robertson were both performers, and are Canadian, or is it just a coincidence (as both have done American produced Muppet productions)? -- Zanimum 19:49, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- A significant The Jim Henson Hour material, outside of The StoryTeller and other specials done in England or requiring specific lications like Miss Piggy's Hollywood, was taped in Toronto (and often used Canadian actors for the occasional on-camera bits, as well as puppeteers or, for example, the Nylons), though of course others (like The Today Show segment were done where the show is and in some cases it may have depended on the guests or logistics), so it's likely the case but difficult to confirm on an individual level, especially in this case where it was all on Muppet sets rather than location shooting. I'd say just make a note about The Jim Henson Hour, since it's provable that a fair portion was shot there, whereas individual shows or segments would be harder to suss out. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 23:30, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
