Boober's Skin
I changed Boober's skin color to green. Am I crazy, because I just don't see it as blue. I mean, maybe blue-green as a compromise, but it's pretty green to me.--Pantalones 21:55, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

- Actually, questionable color descriptions or failure to mark shade distinctions is something I've thought about quite a bit lately, and something which might be worth discussing on current events. Fozzie Bear's fur is described as orange, which in some versions and lights is not entirely inaccurate, but it's hardly the same orange fur as Frazzle. The Name That Puppet page refers to the monocled pirate as "Purple Guy" when he appears to me to be a flesh-toned pink. Conversely, the Gobo Fraggle page claims his hair is pink, when it always struck me as more purple, in fact violet to be more precise. Is there abetter way to mark differences in shades or be more precise in color descriptions, outside of finding character style or color guides? --Andrew, Aleal 03:30, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- I would say that teal is a very good call for his skin. Though green is pretty close. But as far as his fur goes, I would say that is light blue (or at least light bluish.)--Nate Nateboegel 12:56, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Andrew, I think this is probably the best system we're going to have for figuring out colors. Somebody posts the color they think it is, and then if there's a dispute, it gets settled on the talk page. - Call me crazy, but I always saw his skin as grey and his fur as blue-grey, to reflect his gloomy personality. But I don't think I'm crazy. -- Shawn 09:18, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

- Muppet colors can vary due to the lighting of a shot. Most Muppets' colors are more vibrant in person (Kermit, for example, is a much darker green in person, but lighting makes it brighter.) As far as I know, Boober is light blue. Scooter 19:38, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

I said "visible" eyes, because although the puppet has no eyes, we don't want to imply that the character has no eyes! GrantHarding
