I think if we're going to get that specific about the chronology, then we ought to use the production dates for TMM. The way it is right now, there's a tape date, then a release date, then a tape date. TMM was filmed in the break between season 3 and 4, so the "Bombay" reference in TMM predates the others. -- Danny (talk) 23:18, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. I redid it just because the Episode 405 bit felt awkwardly inserted, and it seemed odd to put The Muppet Movie after the Lola Falana episode, if it's supposed to stress episode continuity (especially since I noticed the Lola Falana page text treats it as a reference back to Muppet Movie!) This was the best way I could come up with to rewrite it at the time, which is the only reason I included dates, but I agree, it needs work. Frankly, I'd just as soon drop the part about Ep. 405, so then strict chronology wouldn't matter, though I see why Scott added it. Maybe I need to look at it again in the morning or something. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 23:26, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- It isn't. Not at all. Scott added that, to try to segue into the Lola Falana episode reference as an example of Gonzo's movie star aspirations. It didn't really work for me, and also suggested that both episodes came before the Muppet Movie. That's why I redid things. Maybe I'll ask Scott. Frankly, if he doesn't object, I'd just as soon take it out, especially as going through Ask Henson.com archives, I found another Bombay/Gonzo ref, but one which has nothing to do with movies, but rather being doused in curry. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 16:54, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Prescience?
Edit
Was Gonzo really prescient to foresee the success of Bollywood? India has been the world's biggest filmmaking country since the mid-70s. Powers 17:29, August 27, 2011 (UTC)
