When was he born?!

I'm wondering when this puppet was built and if it was ever even made for Fraggle Rock? My reasoning behind this was originally from this site: Denaro states that it was made for the Muppet Movie which was '79. The puppet appears in a magazine photo in in '81 presumably taken in the LONDON Muppet Show workshop behind Barbara Davis. Two years before Fraggle Rock! Wozza 20:09, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

I know that a draft of the script (which was detailed at tough pigs in 2002) featured a brief scene with Kermit talking to a friend in the swamp. I guess this was meant to be him (somebody at Muppet Central said that he got to visit the set during production of The Muppet Movie, and saw Kermit's swamp friend who didn't make it into the movie). --Minor muppetz 21:56, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
He is refered to as JBug on Denaros website, maybe he was going to be a bug in the swamp? Wozza 13:08, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
We can't speculate that far, but I think the way it's worded on the article now works based on the evidence. —Scott (talk) 20:14, March 11, 2010 (UTC)

Sal Denaro sent me this: This puppet was something I designed and fabricated sometime between 1978 and 1979 for the Muppet Show.He was not made for the Muppet Movie. He could have been used in other productions, I am not sure. I was not asked to make him I just built him with the expectation that he would be used for the TV show. I made him in between my job casting the foam latex characters of Miss Piggy,Statler and Waldorf, etc.

When he was shipped out from the NYC Muppet workshop to London it I was the last I saw of that puppet as he was modified from what I had made and the Henson Company had every right to do so, even though I think my design was better, but that's show biz!!

Solved! Wozza 11:36, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

When was this character named Blustering Bellowpane Monster? I don't recall him being named in his appearance on Fraggle Rock, and most of his other appearances mentioned gave him alternate names. --Minor muppetz 01:23, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

That's from an internal document; I added the source to the article. -- Danny (talk) 17:09, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
