I seem to remember some time ago someone asking what the "Guest Star Gags" were actually called. I wouldn't know any official name for what TMS called them, but in Vaudeville, they'd be called blackouts.

Cool. I had consolidated a bunch of the naming suggestions into the name "Guest Star Gags," but Blackouts looks like a more official term, so I support changing the name. We can also have a little bit of background on the history of blackouts, and how they changed from vaudeville through Laugh-In and then The Muppet Show. -- Peter (talk) 16:23, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
