Who did the puppetry for the Bill Compton Muppet?
If Jerry Nelson only did the voice for the Bill Compton Muppet, then who did the puppetry for the Bill Compton Muppet? I'm assuming it's Matt Vogel, since he mostly taken over most of Jerry Nelson's characters. That was my random guess though, but what do you guys think? -- Max (talk) 22:04, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
- We don't speculate on puppetry, in cases where a Muppet character has a confirmed voice but unknown puppeteer (we only note the puppeteer who was looped when it's in the credits or otherwise sourced and significant). It really doesn't matter for a one-shot anyway. If you feel like checking with Vogel via his website and such, you're welcome to, but there's no point in randomly guessing on it. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 22:12, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
Wouldn't it be more accurate to call this "Bill Compton Muppet" if it's explicitly parodying the character and that specific series, not the actor? See also Jack Bauer Muppet. Unless there's a source (such as Sesame Workshop's presskit) that labels him this way? -- Andrew Leal (talk) 23:58, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- I see no issue in changing it. I'm pretty sure I named it this to make it fit with the rest of the Caricature Muppets. - Oscarfan 00:02, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
