The original bicycle

The article states that the first bike shot with a Muppet was done with a stationary bike while the background was moved. Looking at the Muppets' valentine show, this doesn't seem right to me. It appears that the set is stationary and the bike is being moved by rods attached to the wheels. The same effect is used for Droop's motorcycle when he drives in (and out). Judge for yourself: it starts at the 5:18 mark here. -- MuppetDude 16:41, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, I just took it out. —Scott (talk) 17:32, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

If anyone knows how the muppet workshop team were able to make the muppets cycle, wouldn't it be good to explain it on this page, i guess lots of people wonder how they do it... -- Joe (talk) 11:08, 20 February 2009 (UTC) IS BACK!

It is on the page (as much as we know, anyway). Take a look. A mixture of dollies, marionette rigs, and animatronics were used at various times, and specifics for each example are noted in the relevant section. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 20:27, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
