This video contains two different news shows, giving a report on this bit. They both claim it will air Feb. 24th, which is the airdate of 2951, which contians this song. Is that evidence that #2951 is the first appearance of the song? - Oscarfan 19:06, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Anyone? - Oscarfan 19:20, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Took a while to realize this, but based on this article, it mentions "the hot new singing group, En Vogue" as one of the many guest stars for Season 23. Also I agree from the second news report, that the video will air Feb. 24th, which is the airdate for 2951. So this might prove 2951 air the first appearance of this song. - Steven (talk) 19:12, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
I don't know how many people have Sesame Street Celebrates! other than Danny, but he's got all his stuff in boxes right now. Can we get a date from the liner notes for when this song was published? —Scott (talk) 03:34, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I haven't packed those tapes yet! I've got it here, and there's no dates on the liner. -- Danny (talk) 14:34, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the scan of the liner notes. Lame that they didn't include years for the songs, but I did notice an asterisk which cites that it's a "Newly Released Performance." The song also features in Sesame Street Jam: A Musical Celebration, which according to our article was released on home video in 1993 before its broadcast debut in 1994 (although I think there was a discrepancy that we weren't sure about on the talk page). Given these two pieces of information, it looks likely that "Adventure" was produced for that special in 1993 and prepared for the cassette at the same time (which was commercially released the following year). —Scott (talk) 23:51, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
