Sesamstrasse

The article previously made this statement: "Sesamstrasse character Leonie Löwenherz starred in her very own ALF-like show." The Leonie Löwenherz page says that she had a show with human characters. It's not clear how that is specifically inspired by or references ALF. If someone can make a better case for that claim, we should add that to the article. —Scott WikiaStaff.png (contact) 03:16, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Plus the Leonie Lowenherz show thing had no direct connection to Sesamstrasse by that point (as the page notes, it was a character built by an outside puppet company), so even if true, it wouldn't qualify (sort of like we wouldn't count a reference to The Lone Ranger made by Picklepuss and Pop in a Boston show, compared to if it happened in that Play Along video). The user who added it did so because the Leonie page says she got "her own (Alf-like) show," but from the context, the resemblance seems limited to a lead puppet surrounded by humans. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 06:37, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Jim's Feelings Towards ALF

Hey, there's a really interesting piece of information about Jim's feeling's towards Bernie Brillstein managing Paul Fusco in Bernie's autiobiography. I can add it, if you guys feel it would work on this page. Scooter 22:18, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey, anything that strengthens an article's Muppet relevance is helpful. Add it in! -- Andrew Leal (talk) 22:30, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Who performed Alf?

Does anybody know who puppetear Alf? I think he is puppeteer by Steve Whitmire. Who provided work on Rizzo the Rat, Barkely, Foo-Foo, Nelson (Indian U Call), The D train guy, Whembly Fraggle, Sprocket, Captain Breakfast, JP (Miami Mice), Ernie (1990-present), Kermit the Frog (1990-present), and so on... --User:BuddyBoy600

ALF's not a Muppet, and wasn't played by Steve Whitmire (nor were more than half those you just listed). Paul Fusco played him. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 19:24, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
