40 sponsoring Plaza Sésamo Edit

I've seen at least one episode of the Mexican version "dedicated to" the number 40, with Spanish dubs of "Guy Smiley's table for 39" and a star-counting cartoon (the English version appeared in Episode 2615). Although I don't have that episode on video, should it be mentioned in the article? -- Ingeborg 06:54, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, wrong number... Edit

The number 40 became the upper limit for counting-lesson sketches in 1986 (20 had been the upper limit before then, at least since the third season). However, no number above 21 has ever been a sponsor on Sesame Street. --ISNorden 01:12, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Does anyone else remember? Edit

The "Happiness Begins at 40" game show parody aired in the late 80s or early 90s: by then, at least three Muppets had run game shows on Sesame Street. Do any other fans remember who played the host in this segment? -- ISNorden 23:50, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

It was Guy Smiley.
BTW, have you seen the Sesame Street Game Shows page we have here? Would you be able to add anything to the list? --MuppetVJ 06:23, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you, MuppetVJ! I can now add an article link (a short article, but better than nothing) to "Happiness Begins at 40" on that page. I can also do a short piece on the "Letter of the Day Games", if you think we need it here.
Most of the other games on that list are half-familiar to me: I know some details about each one, but not enough for an article (for example, I usually forget which characters were contestants). --ISNorden 00:36, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
