Talk:Stuie Monster
Back to page
Does anybody know if this character ever actually appeared on Sesame Street? I've seen scans from the program book for his Sesame Street Live appearance, and I think it would be weird if he was created just for this show, especially since he seemed to be more of a background character (or, for lack of a better term, a character who didn't have much significance). I haven't actually seen that Sesame Street Live show, so he could have done more than I think, but it would be odd to create a new character who doesn't contribute to much, rather than including another existing character such as Telly Monster, Biff, Sully, or Sherlock Hemlock. --Minor muppetz 06:09, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know if he was ever on the actual show, but I know it wasn't unusual for them to create new characters for the stage show to further the plot along, or to just have fun. In this case Stuie had a big number in the show, and moved the story along. --Radionate 06:17, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- He kind of reminds me of this monster (from the song Fur) who was also voiced by Richard Hunt. Maybe its just a coincidence, or maybe there are the same guy.

- I know that new characters were often created for Sesame Street Live, but those new characters were often major characters in the show's plotline, not characters who already seem like part of the gang. If Stuie is actually the same monster who sang Fur, then I wonder if I should be asking if he was a regular character. --Minor muppetz 14:05, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
