DisambigEdit

I think this disambig page is lopsided -- Abelardo Montoya is one of the three central characters on Plaza Sésamo; he's been the equivalent of Big Bird since 1981. In comparison, Abelardo (crocodile) is a minor figure of historical interest. So it's kind of like having "Big Bird" be a disambig between Big Bird and a big bird character from Sam and Friends.

I think we should make Abelardo redirect to Abelardo Montoya, and let the crocodile have a "see also". What do other folks think? -- Danny (talk) 07:23, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I agree. In fact, that's how it was originally, when we started doing more disambig pages, but before we decided to prioritize cases where one entry is clearly the major one in terms of what people would look for or prominence (regular characters over one-shots, a regular speaking character over a minor recurring toy, specials over spin-off albums, etc.). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 07:28, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
