The classic tune "Swinging on a Star" was originally sung by Bing Crosby in "Going My Way", and won an Academy Award for Best Song in 1944. It has since been recorded by many other artists as well. Tony Bennett included a version of it in his 1998 album "The Playground".

Sesame Street

• On Sesame Street, the song was first sung by Susan and some Anything Muppets in Episode 0010, and the sketch was repeated numerous times. Susan dressed several AMs as animals while she sang.

Muppets

• Rowlf and Jimmy Dean sang a duet of "Swinging on a Star" in 1963 on The Jimmy Dean Show. The sketch appears on the 2007 DVD release, The Best of the Jimmy Dean Show.

• Julie Andrews sings "Swinging on a Star" in her 1975 TV special "Julie Andrews: My Favorite Things". She is joined by the Gawky Birds and the Clodhoppers (who are called "The Klunks" on this show).
