Swamp demons
From Muppet Wiki
Swamp demons come from the imaginations of the villainous farmers in The Muppet Musicians of Bremen. When the travelling musician animals mistake the farmers for a family, the superstitious and cowardly farmers mistake the musicians for swamp demons.
