Super Beaker

Beaker has appeared in "super" form on at least three occasions.

• When Beaker takes one of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's chemical mixtures, he acquires super strength and a letter logo beneath his button-down shirt. Seen in the comic "Disco Frog" from the 1979 UK Muppet Show Annual, this story was reprinted in the US in the book Muppet Madness.

• Beaker is on hand for Christopher Reeve's issue of Muppet Magazine dressed in superhero attire, spoofing Reeve's portrayal of Superman. From this same photoshoot, a collector's card was issued spoofing Superman II.

• Palisades Toys released a Super Beaker Action Figure inspired by the style of The Rocketeer.
